Requirement for Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Admission Test 2012-2013:

• Students who passed HSC/equivalent in 2012 or who passed A-level after November 2011.

• GPA 4.0 in scale of 5 in SSC/equivalent.

• Total GPA 19 in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.

• For GCE: Average B grade in at least five subjects (including Physics, Chemistry, Math, English) in O-level and minimum 2 subject A grade in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and B Grade in other in A-level.

• All tribal and foreign certificate holders are eligible to appear in the admission test.

• In Physics, Chemistry, Math, and English 50% questions will be in Objective type and the rest 50% will be in traditional type.
